The photographic art market has grown exponentially. Proving it is the affirmation and growth of art fairs dedicated to photography: ParisPhoto, PhotoLondon, Unseen (Amsterdam), AIPAD (New York), are some examples of this. Such phenomenon has been made possible due to the increase in the number of institutional and private collectors. In Portugal, collecting photography is still not widespread. To offset this situation, it is Imago Lisboa’s intention to contribute to attract new collectors. Thus, there will be a clarification / training workshop for those who seek to start a new adventure. Different experts will address market operation and trends, how to acquire, how to preserve and clarify any questions that may arise.

We will produce a box /portfolio comprising 6 images by Portuguese photographers, printed on fineart paper measuring 30x40cm, with 40x50cm passpartout in an edition of 30 copies.
